Tommis Young
Chief Technology Officer and FounderTommis Young is a seasoned professional in the heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry, with over 31 years of experience in HVAC/R design, engineering and development. Tom has been instrumental in the design and development of a thermal electric heat pump, non dispersive infra-red gas sensors, universal switch adaptor, controller for HVAC equipment and carbon dioxide sensors and has received a patent for the "Advanced Heat Pump Air Conditioning Unit."
Tom has also collaborated with the Department of Defense, Department of Energy and their related laboratories for product research and development, and Intertek ETL Laboratories for product certification. He continues to work with some of the nation's largest HVAC and technology leaders in the area of gaseous type unitary heating and cooling equipment.
Tim T. Cone
Chief Operating OfficerTim Cone brings over 11 years of leadership experience, mostly in the manufacturing industry. Tim came on board to IntelliChoice Energy in 2009 and is dedicated to maximizing organizational efficiency and empowering others to succeed. He runs the day-to-day operations of the ICE offices including being responsible for P/L, hiring and training new employees and sales staff, creating a product line marketing strategy and managing sales relationships.
Tim continues to be an asset to ICE as he has a proven track record of achievement in large and small organizations including successful market strategies and accelerated revenue growth. His collegiate background includes attending Ferris State in 1991 and studying Marketing during his time there. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University, having graduated in 1996. In his downtime, Tim likes to hit the links and practice his golf swing, be outdoors in the Arizona sun and spend time with his family.
Tim Kokoska
National Manufacture Rep ManagerTim Kokoszka has been working in the HVAC industry for over 15 years. He has supervised many installation crews throughout the years, completing installations for residential, commercial and industrial projects. Expanding his expertise, Tim found himself promoted to the head of the Estimating Department of a well established Las Vegas based HVAC Company. Through his experiences, he has became very familiar with the application and design of the different types of heating & cooling equipment that are out there today, giving him a better understanding of the industry.
Tim continues to move forward supporting the Nextaire product line as the National Manufacture Rep Account Manager. He is also working to educate and assist Architects, Engineers, Contractors as well as the public on the features, benefits and advantages of the NextAire Gas Heat Pumps.
Tim has an extensive history with the military that includes serving in the U.S. Air Force as a F-15 Weapons Crew Chief for 10 years, and also serving from the Aleutian Chain of Alaska to the Islands of the Philippines and many places in between. This experience has given him a higher level of discipline, organization and respect for others. He likes to golf and spend time with his family in his spare time.
Bob Ard
Customer Support CoordinatorBob Ard is a former business owner that grew to over 55 employees and supported the growing industry of computer backup systems (UPS) or uninterrupted power supply. They were a high precision sheet metal company with customers ranging from General Signal, Best Power, Powerware, Leer Corporation, and many others. They also provided plastic products used in the medical field surgical burn units. During his time with this company, he won a state recognition new business award in Indiana.
Bob moved to Las Vegas in 2002 where he has worked for two major Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Companies as a sales executive and also as Southwest Regional Director. He joined IntelliChoice Energy in March 2010 as a Sales Manager and has since made the transition to the Customer Support Corrdinator.
Some of his hobbies and activities are playing the guitar, theater, astronomy, boating, camping and golf. He is a huge fan of the Chicago Bears Football Team, Notre Dame Football, and the Indiana Hoosiers Basketball Team.
Sarah Silver
Sales & Marketing CoordinatorSarah Silver has been with IntelliChoice Energy, since joining the team in January 2010. Originally from Phoenix, Sarah graduated from Northern Arizona University with a BS degree in Merchandising and a minor in Advertising.
Sarah assists with the day-to-day operations of the office and is responsible for coordinating marketing and PR to promote the NextAire brand. Her background in the hotel and sales industries has led her to this position in ICE.
Growing up in Phoenix has allowed Sarah to experience much of what the state has to offer. In her spare time she enjoys going to Sedona, visiting Cave Creek with her friends and trying out new restaurants.
Eric Riccardi
Customer Support ManagerEric Riccardi has been in all aspects of the HVAC industry for the past 15 years and with IntelliChoice Energy for 11 years. The past 8 years he has been primarily focused on gas heat pump technology. As Customer Support Manager, Eric is responsible for training dealers on the installation, maintenance and service of the NextAire product line, as well as project quality assurance, start ups and controls programming and commissioning. Other duties include project plan review, utility demonstration project management, product procurement and shipping.
James Gannon
Customer SupportJames Gannon works in Customer Support performing a multitude of duties including maintenance, start ups, quality control for installations and training on our NextAire units. Gannon has been collaborating with Tom Young for 5 years working with the GHP units. He is a NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certified technician in air-to-air heat pumps. He is also certified by AISIN SEIKI for working on the GHP. Having over 480 hours of schooling at ATI for air conditioning makes Gannon's experience in the company invaluable. He has two beautiful boys' ages 3 and 1 year old and has lived in Las Vegas for 16 years.
Jack Klackner
R&D Engineering ManagerJack Klackner has over 30 years experience in pipeline, utility and manufacturing industries. His experiences include project management, project engineering, detailed design, material specification and testing, permitting and construction, regulatory compliance and field technical support for several manufacturing companies. Jack manages all engineering functions including design, material selection, testing and documentation, leading a team of engineers, designers and contractors. During development, he is also responsible for all technical aspects from concept development through assembly and testing
Jack is a registered Mechanical Engineer in several states and is a member of the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Project Management Institute. He also has experience with large solar photovoltaic projects from concept and design through construction.
Gary D Rose
Prototype Assembly SupervisorGary has been with IntelliChoice Energy since 1996 and has worked on every project including the following: Built 1st GEDAC DOD 2 unit maintained others – LUKE AFB – NELLIS AFB – YUMA MCAS – BARSTOW MCLB & FORT IRWIN ARMY. Gary also assisted in design and managed crew to build DOD 1 GEDAC units – LUKE AFB – NELLIS AFB – YUMA MCAS – BARSTOW MCLB – DAVIS MONTHAN AFB & FORT HUACHUCA ARMY as well as the installation of Tempe solar project. He has installed solar heating system in Cedar City Utah, built prototype phase 1 gas engine driven water heater and built prototype phase 2 gas engine driven water heater.
Gary has run residential HVAC calls and assisted in commercial calls, supervised Gas Contracting for appliance repair and supervised the Meter Installation program,
Gary is married with one daughter and coaches for her softball team since age eight (we are also always looking for sponsors for the team)! He has a past of surfing, water skiing, sea doo and dirt biking (BONES ARE JUST TOO BRITTLE NOW!) and is almost a full time golfer.
Steve Rauner
Southern Arizona Sales ManagerSteve Rauner joined IntelliChoice Energy in 2010 serving the Tucson area as Southern Arizona’s Sales Manager. Steve has over 30 years in the industry starting back as a Mechanical Design Engineer with Schenkel & Schultz Architects/Engineers in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. There he provided the planning and design of mechanical, plumbing and fire protection for projects. He also performed site inspections for all projects during the construction phase. After moving to Tucson, Arizona he worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Adams & Associates. While there he was in charge of the total development of projects from
the initial meeting, design development phase to the completion and commissioning of the project. This included coordinating the plans with Civil, Electrical, Structural and Architectural plans. He worked on a variety of projects including hotels, schools, commercial and industrial buildings as well as high end residential homes.
Steve then moved on to Russell Sigler as a Sales Engineer where he provided sales engineering support for all of the Mechanical Engineers in and around the Tucson area. This included providing selections of equipment, specifications, drawings and technical information for their specific projects such as: water and air cooled chillers, air handling units, large package air conditioners for both commercial and industrial projects.
Ed Graham
Director of Sales DevelopmentAfter several decades in the HVAC industry Ed Graham joined IntelliChoice Energy in January of 2011. Previously, he held senior positions with a number of prominent HVAC manufacturers. Ed is currently the Director of Sales Development for IntelliChoice and works with senior management to help create a national network of manufacturer's representatives. When not working Ed enjoys sports of all types, listening to jazz and cooking.
Mark "Drew" Acton
Senior DesignerDrew Acton began working on IntelliChoice Energy projects in January of 2004 as a temp through Southwest Gas and the EETD Department and officially hired by ICE (Team Consulting) in September 2004. Acton's main job function is engineering design and documentation using computer aided design software of the natural gas engine driven products. The design team began using AutoCAD 2d and 3d software and is now using the parametric modeling Inventor Pro software. All of the aspects of his projects fall directly under Acton's Mechanical Engineering/Design degree from Oklahoma State University.
Born and raised in Oklahoma, and working in the utility industry designing bucket lifts and diggers for a couple of years after college, he moved to Las Vegas in 1992, where he spent 10 years in the casino industry doing engineering work for an indoor casino signage company and a couple years creating custom marble and granite designs using water jet technology. Acton enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He also is passionate about his hobby of drag racing. Starting with a 15 second 1979 trans am in 1999 to the current 11 second 1951 Chevy Pickup, it's always a good time at the track!
